Mom’s Basement Records Announce Virtual Xmas Show

Pennsylvania based ramonescore/pop punk record label Mom’s Basement Records and partners The Dummy Room Podcast and Hey Pizza Records have announced a virtual Xmas show scheduled for Saturday, December 18 at 8pm EST on YouTube.

Some of the bands participating include: Neon Bone, The Jasons, Covert Flops, The Lockdowns, Capgun Heroes, Proton Packs, Ratbones, plus many more.

Owner and operator of Mom’s Basement Records, John Proffitt Jr. said that over 20 bands submitted videos. “It should be a fun time and there will be a few surprises.” One of the bands contributing to this year’s Xmas party is Texas based pop punk band Joe Jitsu. “The band got together for the first time in over a decade to submit something for this event” John noted in a social media post.

This is the second year for the Mom’s Basement Records Xmas Party. “The goal of the Xmas party is to introduce new bands and celebrate our existing bands and friends of the label.” John said. “Last years Xmas party was pretty well received, I think that this one will have people excited as well.”

Mom’s Basement Records have been active for six years.

The 2021 Mom’s Basement Xmas Party video will be released the evening of the event on YouTube and Facebook. A watch party will be hosted in the Dummy Room Facebook group.
